Dolores Ibarruri "The passion" (Gallarta 1895 - Madrid 1989) is perhaps the most famous historical Spanish women. Some general references: deputy for Asturias in 1936 founded the organization Women Against War and Fascism. She became General Secretariat of the Communist Party and in 1960 she was named President. In 1931 she was arrested and imprisoned. Resgresó from exile in 1977 and was deputy for the PCE in the Constituent Cortes. President of "Women against War."
